Rising star stand-up comic Simon Lilley started out in October 2005. He is good, now. (and getting better.) Variously described as warm, clever, enjoyable and surreal; warm and clever people always enjoy his performances, providing they're not too drunk. Cold and stupid people often do too. He is, after all, very very silly. Wordplay, bewildered story-telling, ranting and observational daftness all make for a typical set. It is thought that his long, lank hair and experimental facial hair make little or no difference to his performance. When he does finally trade in his messy thin mop for shorter hair it will be interesting at first but ultimately inconsequential. Such is the strength of his inner genius.
